Lisa Algozzini is an Italian-American soprano praised by The New York Times for her performances “filled with gripping details” & as "powerful and rich in substance" by Der Tagesspiegel. Most recently, she received rave reviews for her successful role debut as Lady Macbeth (MACBETH) in New York City. From this important debut, the Wall Street Journal deemed her to have "dramatic soprano capacity" to move forward in the most challenging repertoire which was followed by the complete double bill as Santuzza (CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA) & Nedda (PAGLIACCI) with the Singapore Lyric Opera.

She has also performed Fiordiligi (COSÌ FAN TUTTE), the title role of Handel's ALCINA, Micaela (CARMEN), Musetta (LA BOHÈME), Nedda (PAGLIACCI), Lauretta (GIANNI SCHICCHI), Angelica (SUOR ANGELICA) & has performed all 3-women of DON GIOVANNI: Zerlina, Donna Anna & has become in high demand for her Donna Elvira which she has performed all over the world including the State Opera of Liberec in Czechia which earned her a nomination for the Best Singer of 2020.
